GlusterFS

Storage Premium

GlusterFS gives you a control panel for a GlusterFS storage cluster, right inside Cockpit.

About

GlusterFS gives you a control panel for a GlusterFS storage cluster, right inside Cockpit. See the health of your nodes, volumes and bricks at a glance, create and grow volumes, take snapshots, and handle brick replacement and healing without typing gluster commands. Changes that can destroy data ask you to type the name of what you are changing before they run.

What this module can do

  • - See the glusterd service, pool health and raw capacity on one page, and open the firewall for GlusterFS
  • - Add and detach nodes in the storage pool
  • - Create volumes: distributed, replicated, replica 3 with arbiter, and dispersed (erasure coding)
  • - Start, stop and delete volumes
  • - Add, remove and replace bricks, with a step-by-step data migration before a removal is committed
  • - Watch self-heal, trigger a heal, and see split-brain information
  • - Start, check and stop rebalances
  • - View, set and reset volume options
  • - Set and remove folder quotas
  • - Start and stop profiling and view per-brick I/O statistics
  • - Create, activate, deactivate, restore and delete snapshots
  • - See live space and inode use for every brick and node
